Effective date: October 17, 2026
TechMoxa publishes guides, reviews, and tech explainers that readers rely on to make decisions and fix problems. Getting things right matters to us. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly and quickly.
What Counts as an Error
- A wrong fact, such as a price, date, name, version number, or specification
- Steps in a guide that no longer work or never worked as described
- A misleading statement or missing context that changes the meaning
- A wrong link or a broken instruction
How We Fix Mistakes
Corrections When we fix a factual error, we update the article and add a short note at the end explaining what changed and when.
Example: “Correction, October 17, 2026: An earlier version of this guide listed the wrong menu path for Android 17. The steps have been updated.”
Updates Apps and devices change all the time. When a guide needs new steps because software was updated, we revise it and show an “Updated” date at the top or bottom of the article.
Clarifications When an article is accurate but could be misunderstood, we add more detail or context and may include a clarification note.
Small Edits Typos, grammar, and formatting fixes that don’t change the meaning are made without a note.
Rumors, Leaks, and Early Reports
When we write about unreleased products or early news, we label the information as a rumor, leak, or report. If the official details turn out to be different, we update the article to match the confirmed facts.
Reporting a Mistake
If you find an error, please let us know:
Email: [email protected] Subject line: Correction
Please include:
- The article link
- What you believe is wrong
- The correct information, with a source if you have one
- For guides: your device and software version
What Happens Next
- We review your report.
- We check it against official sources or test it ourselves.
- If we confirm the error, we correct the article and add a note.
- We may email you to let you know what we changed.
We aim to review reports within 2–3 business days.
Removing Articles
We rarely delete articles. In special cases, such as legal or privacy issues, or content that is badly out of date and can’t be fixed, we may remove or redirect a page.
