TechMoxa’s readers trust us to give them honest information about the technology they use every day. This Ethics Policy sets out the standards everyone who writes for TechMoxa is expected to follow.
Our Values
Truthfulness We publish only what we believe to be accurate. We don’t knowingly mislead readers, and we correct mistakes openly.
Fairness We treat every company, product, and person fairly. In comparisons and reviews, we judge products on their merits, not on brand loyalty or personal bias.
Independence No company, advertiser, or sponsor can buy positive coverage, change a review score, or decide what we publish.
Transparency We’re open about how we make money (advertising and possible affiliate links), how we test products, and how we use tools like AI in our work.
Responsibility We own our mistakes and fix them quickly, following our Corrections Policy.
Conflicts of Interest
- Writers must tell us about any personal or financial connection to a company or product they cover.
- If a conflict can’t be managed, the writer will not cover that topic.
- We do not accept payment, gifts, or favors in return for coverage.
Review Products
- If a company sends us a product to review, we say so in the article.
- Receiving a product never guarantees a positive review.
- We don’t let companies approve or edit our reviews before publishing.
Advertising, Sponsorships, and Affiliates
- Ads are always kept separate from editorial content.
- Sponsored articles, if any, are clearly marked “Sponsored.”
- Affiliate links are disclosed, and they never influence our recommendations.
Original Work
All content must be original. Copying or closely rewriting other people’s work is not allowed. When we use quotes, data, or images from others, we credit the source.
Privacy and Safety
- We don’t publish private personal information without a strong public interest.
- When writing about security flaws, scams, or hacking, we focus on helping readers stay safe. We never publish instructions that could be used to cause harm.
Responsible Coverage
- We clearly separate facts from opinions.
- We label unconfirmed news as rumors or reports.
- We don’t use fear, exaggeration, or clickbait to attract readers.
Holding Ourselves Accountable
If you believe TechMoxa has not met these standards, please tell us. We take every concern seriously.
